Apply before it lands
Apply at time of purchase and no later than the date your goods reach our warehouse. Applications filed after delivery to the warehouse are void.
Without protection, liability is limited to $10 per kilogram, capped at $100 per shipment (terms v01-2021).
What we cannot insure
- Small items that easily get lost: SD cards, jewelry such as rings and earrings, seeds, replacement screws and bolts
- Goods sent by third-party shippers, including family members, friends and third-party eBay sellers
- Goods sourced from China or other countries outside the US and UK
- Glass items ship, but accidental breakage is not covered

Claims, in plain terms
Report within 24 hours
Identify and document loss or damage within 24 hours of delivery; investigations may take up to 40 days.
Document the damage
As the recipient you identify and document the loss or damage and report the type of damage. Photographs at the point of delivery make every claim faster.
Then we investigate
Loss and damage claims are subject to an investigation by SR, which may take up to 40 days. See the terms for the full liability position.
